The staff were very pleased with the result
Pilot boat 30The cooperation with the Swedish Maritime Administration began in 2003, where we today delivered a number of panels to their pilot boats. The first delivery of NORDIC safe was made during the lifetime extension of Pilotboat 30. It all began with a tip from Skansol that had received a request from the shipyard if they had any solution to the Swedish Maritime Administration's request for illuminated signs. The picture to the right is from one of our follow-up visits when the snow fell gently.
From the beginning, each lighting card had a power cable to each switch, therefore, it was also needed a distribution unit when the number of lighting points became more than 20 pieces.
Today, it consists of a drive unit where a power cable is routed to the panel connector terminal where we sew the cables at the back to a network. |
We decided to take the assignment to show us on the market. The shipyard manufactured the panels and I mounted our lighting at the shipyard, to later on be installed in the boat by the yards electrical contractor. The staff were very pleased with the result. They were the first to get the right lighting in the signs at the most after years of request but there had been no seriously ansver from the market.

Optimal and durable
Pilot 211-213Pilot 211-213 was built in Estonia 2009. As a result of delivery to the Swedish Maritime Administration's 790 series, we received a request to deliver the panels. Here we had a series of discussions to arrive at a good solution. It is important for us that the solution should always be optimal and sustainable for both the business and the staff. Therefore, we always take time to work out a good result.

Insisted on using our system
Pilot 753- 754Pilot 753 lifetime extension extended in 2014. The electrician cheef at the shipyard had come into contact with us by updating the Pilot 790 panel system earlier. He had seen our lighting, realized the benefits and insisted on using our NORDIC safe system. The yard did sketches that we had as a base. A number of options were discussed in a week until we reached the best solution. The same basis was used in 2015 for Pilot 754 with some changes.

Cost efficiencyPilot 740At the same time as Pilot 753 lifetime extended on Hasslö yard, Pilot 740 was updated on Djupvik's yard. The implementation had been discussed for a number of years and it was with great satisfaction that it could be completed. The result was also very appealing in design. In that project we used the existing switches. When some switches were "special" and expensive in purchase, a mix of one-hole and five-hole assembly was reworked and reinstalled in the new panels. There were also a number of other special arrangements to highlight the previously darkened radar screen potentiometers. In doing so, we managed to cost-effective the project by keeping costs down by many thousands of dollars.
